QV8 Apartments

Located in the 37 story QV building in the city, comes an iconic re-development of a carpark space. Two levels of carpark were transformed into 8 bespoke apartments. This project has featured in numerous magazines and has already won the following awards; Winner — 2015 Sustainability Award (Houses Awards), Finalist 2015 Apartment of the year (HIA).

Internal: These stylish Modern Interiors had a mixture of timber, copper, marble, parquetry flooring and painted surfaces. We stained the internal doors in black and finished in a hard wearing 2 pack satin. The ceilings and walls with their clean sharp lines were finished in Haymes low VOC ultra-premium paints. The trim was sprayed onsite and finished in Haymes ultra trim low vac, achieving a very high standard.

External: The common area walls and concrete walls including courtyard walls were finished in Porters Stone Paint, giving a fantastic finish. The external timbers areas included: Timber battens/screens/deckings and posts were finished in a mixture of products including: Sikkens TGL Gloss, Sikkens Cetol HLS, Black Japan, Cetol deck. The External steel to the courtyard frame and planter boxes were finished in Jotacote 605 2 pack. Other external works included matrix cladding finished in black Haymes external acrylic.

Overall these high end luxury apartments were finished with a great deal of care and commitment, resulting in an extremely high quality product.
